Reminder to all you Snow Monkeys and potential Snow Monkeys ..

We take July and August off. We'll be back with the first issue of volume 25 starting in September.

We'll be reading your submissions occasionally between trips.

Time to hit the trails and head for the high country. Will be reading again in September when we start Issue 22.

Snow Monkey is out of here for the summer. Hiking. Climbing. Tide-pooling. We'll be back in September with new poems by Denis Emorine for starters.

So ends Issue #19 of Snow Monkey. Issue #20 begins September 2009.

P.S. We've read your submissions through May Day. Hang in there, snow monkeys. We'll be reading on any rainy days we get this summer. But on those hot, sunny days look for us at the higher elevations.

You've either forgotten that you sent us your work or you're very patient! We are currently contacting all Snow Monkeys who we promised we would publish your work.

Since we no longer publish as a print anthology, your work will be posted on Snow Monkey Online upon your re-acceptance notice.

Our goal is to have the first online issue ready -- right here -- September 2008.
